Thank you. Is it possible to register to the HKCU hive instead of HKLM? The Access application is 64-bit, but I would prefer to avoid the need for elevated priviledges..

Hello.
I am glad you like the product!

The post you are referring too is very old, and does not quite apply today. The procedures needed are now publicly documented. Start here:

www.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/OPCLabs-ConnectivityStudio...html#Licensing%20Elements.html
www.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/OPCLabs-ConnectivityStudio...egistry%20License%20Store.html
www.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/OPCLabs-ConnectivityStudio...#Application%20Deployment.html

If you were developing in .NET, the most convenient for the end user would be to embed the license into the program. My understanding is that you are developing in MS Access; in such case you will need to place the license key into the registry. The documentation pages I listed above should give you the necessary information.

I hope this helps.
Best regards

My company bought =11.0pt"QuickOPC Enterprise, Single Developer + Runtime Free License, With 1 Year Upgrade Assurance" for an Access project. As the developer of the project, I am pleased to say that we have been satisfied with the product. I am now ready to distribute it to the runtime machines. The problem that I am running into is that I am not sure how to register the libraries without downloading the whole kit and updating the license with the license manager. I want to install the project on the runtime machines preferably without requiring elevated priviledges, but certainly without using the license manager. From this question , I understand that there is information on this available to licensed users. Would I be able to access it?
